Buffy goes lesbo to battle guitar hero

Ehm, yeah.. What?

Buffy has apparently had some lesbian sex experiment in the Buffy spin-off cartoon. Naturally that makes a news-story somewhere, because, you know, lesbian-controversy etc. etc.

But the author of «Comic Book Century: The History of American Comic Books» , Stephen Krensky, made a comment to ABC News that “Comic books are competing now with video games, DVDs and ‘Guitar Hero’ for the attention of the audience that, let’s face it, they had [during the 1960s]“.

Comic books vs video games, DVDs and guitar hero!

Actually, in the 60’s, I’d say comics was actually competing for attention against the real Guitar Heroes.
*Turns on Jimi Hendrix and grooves*
Which makes his point a bit moot. I mean, it’s not like Comic books was the only thing that got kids attention back in the 60’s. I know of tons of cool stuff I’d be doing if I grew up in the 60’s…. hehe.
Anyhow, here’s the link to the article about lesbo-buffy-comic

Guitar Hero isn’t a video game - it’s a way of life. Specifically, I seem to spend every waking day of my life trying to beat Before I Forget on Hard. The shame…
